Quality system

Our quality management system is UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 certified by ICIM (certificate No. 8145/1) for mechanical machining according to customer specifications.

The system foresees the computerized management of the production based on work orders and the material logistics is managed by batch numbers.

Batches of raw materials are supplied with casting certificates attesting their quality, status and chemical composition.

For every job, a quality repport is issued containing measurements of the first and the last component produced. Checking intervals during the production are subject to tolerance requirements and machine capability and other variables. For galvanizing or other outsorced special treatments, the supplier certifies the compliance with the specifications required. Sub-contractors are constantly monitored and audited.

Product quality is guaranteed and the material traceability is ensured at all times via reports and certificates for each batch delivered.

An efficient archiving system of all the documents necessary for production completes the system.

Should the client incurr in any problems, a non-conformity procedure is opened immediately and can only be closed after the problem is effectively resolved, and the implementation of new corrective and preventive actions are put in place.

Upon customer request, we can provide the PPA documentation as specified by the VDA standard or the PPAP documentation as specified by the AIAG standard.

FASTOP is also enrolled in the International Material Data System (IMDS) with ID 131153.
